iSeries Users Group Forums are now open March 25, 2006
I have implemented new iSeries Users Group Forums for Midlands iSeries Community. You have to be a registered user to post your questions and answers in the forum. To register, please go here. After successful registration, you will need to sign on. Please use this link . If you have questions about registration, sign on or suggestions, complaints please send an e-mail to us.
MMUG forums are divided into three categories:
- General
- Programming
- Vendors
The General Category has three forums, namely Introduce yourself, General Chit Chat and Website Comments and Suggestions. As the names suggest, go ahead and introduce yourself or have a general chit chat with your fellow iSeries professionals or simply share your work related experiences or Dilbert-esque incidents. If you have suggestions or comments to improve this website, please share them in the appropriate forum.
There is a Programming Category for you to post your programming or procedural questions and share your tips. We currently have RPG (all), CL and Commands, Java, J2EE and Websphere, SQL and even COBOL. More forums maybe added if there is enough interest from the user community.
The iSeries Vendors are important part of the community. We have a Vendors category, where member vendors may showcase products in form of white papers, provide tips, tricks and tutorials of their products. No explicit advertising is allowed.
Here are a few simple rules of the forum:
- Please do not use profanity or insult a fellow member.
- Please do not use these forums to post jobs or any other irrelevant materials.
- Take some time to formally introduce yourself in the Forum located under General Category.
- If you have a programming related question or a tip to share, please post it under proper forum.
- Vendors may post white papers, introductions and various features of their products that are useful for users, but no advertising is allowed.
Please help in building this community to help each other with iSeries related discussions and problem solving.
